Dippidee...Oh how I love you!

I entered a contest at my very FAVORITE treat store, Dippidee..... and I won!
DIPPIDEE is AMAZING! They have the most delicious cupcakes... they can't even compare to other cupcakes because they are in a class all their own! (Enter a big BOO to The Sweet Tooth Fairy... their cupcakes are NASTY! I tried 2 & they both tasted so much like fake almond extract I threw them away after just a bite or two and just about puked on my shoe!) Moving back to deliciousness... is that a word? Walking into Dippidee your nostrils are filled with the most delicious and sweet sugary goodness smell... You'll want to try one of everything in the beautiful display case of decedent desserts and baked goods! At Dippidee the cookies melt in your mouth and their rice pudding is rich and delicious as well! Their cute little store has candles in an array of colors and other kitchen things to buy too. I love LOVE LOVE Dippidee!

This is the Little Devil Cupcake... It's my favorite!
Remember my post of Tiny's one month birthday?
Yep, all of those goodies came from Dippidee!

The contest was to guess how many Team Edward and how many Team Jacob cookies they would sell for the opening of New Moon last week... I've never read or watched Twilight so I gave it a stab in the dark and.... I won a box of treats and a Twilight necklace.

I'M SO EXCITED! I HAVE A HUGE SMILE ON MY FACE. HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Gosh seeing that cupcake on my screen makes me want to lick the screen!..... I'll refrain! I can taste the delicious moist chocolate cake, the yummy creamy filling with the fluffy chocolate frosting melting in my mouth..... YUMMY! YUMMY!

Rice Cereal... Yummy, Yummy!

Tiny turned 4 months old on Sunday. She went in for her 4 month well child check and is growing and developing ahead of schedule!
What would a post be without a car seat picture!
B's 4 month stats...
Weight: 11 lbs. 10 oz. - 9 %
(Hence why we call her Tiny!)
Height: 24 1/2 in. - 57%
(She grew an inch and a half in the last month.)
Head: 16 1/4 in. - 57%
(Nice size noggin because she's so smart.)
Cute snuggly winter outfit on my 4 month birthday!

Tiny is getting some loves from Mommy and Daddy right after her shots!
Tiny had her first taste of rice cereal and LOVED it! It took just a few times until she figured out that what I was putting in her mouth was food and she wanted more of it! She would open up her mouth so wide and then grab my hand to shove the spoon into her mouth. It was so dang cute. Looks like rice cereal is now a new item on the menu for the Tiny Princess!

Rice cereal.... Yummy, yummy!
It just tastes better when you make a mess!
See my chubby cheeks? Mommy and Daddy love to kiss them all day!
Mommy is not getting it in my mouth fast enough... I will help her!
Talking to Daddy while he takes my picture.
Mmm... that is yummy!
I'm ready for more!
Tiny is asleep in her swing while I am posting right now... I could hear her moving around a lot... I look over and see this...
Silly girl! She moves around so much that her bow just slid down over her eyes. I snapped this picture and moved it back onto her head, she slept through the whole thing.

Sleeping....

Last night we got Tiny to sleep at 10:30 pm, she slept until 7 am!! YAHOO! I hope she will start sleeping through the night every night. That would be amazing!!

I love it when she takes good naps. She just wakes up so happy and talkative. Usually she takes two, three hour naps during the day. This morning she went back to sleep at 8:20. Which means she has been asleep for almost four hours! She must be doing some major growing to be this tired after sleeping for eight and a half hours last night. Or she must be having some dang good dreams... she keeps smiling while she is asleep.

I miss seeing pictures of my sweet girl posted on our blog. I may just have to do a trial and error course on Jared's laptop and figure out how to post some pictures of the Tiny Princess!

GUESS WHAT I FIGURED OUT.... and yes, for me it is a big accomplishment!

Tiny LOVES to suck on her fingers and often can't decided if she wants her binky or her fingers!
Here she is right after she woke up... She is such a happy girl!
Tiny LOVES her soft snuggly little blanket!
She will put the blanket over her face and hold on to the side to go to sleep.

I LOVE THESE BIG BRIGHT EYES!!

I like you a lot better dead....

Last night when I got home from work in our neighbors window (our apartment is connected to their home on the side) was a sign that read... written in blue crayon

ONE MOUSE DOWN!

Never before in my life has a little sign brought me so much joy! But my next question was.... You guessed it! "Was it a 3 legged mouse?" I called Lucille and talked to her a few minutes. She said that the mouse was caught on a sticky trap so they couldn't really see its legs but it looked as though it had been injured! We both are keeping our traps set just in case there are more mouse friends out there lurking around.

I feel like we out smarted the little bugger by bringing the neighbors in as back up! Between the two of us there are a total of 10 traps set.

I slept a lot better last night knowing Mr. Mouse was dead!

VICTORY!!!

EEEWWWW!

Wednesday night while I was at work I got a call from Jared that he had seen a mouse! I instantly started freaking out... I'm not fond of ANY creepy little rodents or critters!

When I got home I packed my things for the night. Tiny and I went to my parents for the night. We couldn't leave her here knowing she is defenseless and Mr. Mouse may try to bite her during the night. Jared decided to stay home to defend his territory from the ferocious beast!

In the middle of the night Jared woke up and heard a *snap*....
(Enter a smile here that our little rodent is dead!)

When he got up in the morning and checked the trap there was no mouse!!
Instead there was a small mouse appendage and blood in the laundry room.
(Enter a freaked out Mom face here!)

He broke the news to me. I thought he was kidding....
He wasn't! I saw the very small amount of blood on the floor. Jared spared my eyes of seeing the trap with a dangling mouse leg in it.

We have looked all over for the dead mouse now... because how could he live with just 3 legs? We lifted up and moved the washer, dryer, couches etc.

I kept telling myself that the mouse was dead. That he let himself out of the house & outside to die. I've come back to the house & have slept here twice since then. We still have two traps set just in case Mr. Mouse had a Mrs. that he brought along with him. I'm safe then right?
WRONG! Jared saw the mouse again this afternoon. It ran under the couch. We moved the couch and other things again, still no mouse!

I asked Jared if the mouse was missing an appendage. He looked at me like I was joking and told me "It's a mouse! He was running... I didn't stop him to ask if he was missing his leg!"

We now have 6 traps out there for Mr. Mouse! Four with some delectable peanut butter and two sticky mouse mats.... Come on Mr. Mouse you know you want to be reunited with your missing leg in the garbage! PLEASE!!!

Sweet baby girl!

In the afternoons Tiny always takes her nap in her swing if we are home. This afternoon I was doing our usual afternoon routine, I fed her, we talked for a few minutes, she had some tummy time, sat in her bumbo chair, read a story and then it was time to swing so she could fall asleep. She was swinging for a few minutes just chattering in a sing-song voice, I would look over at her and just smile. She then started grunting and chattering like she was chewing me out for something. The whole time she kept watching me as I was sitting on the couch. She got a sad look on her face and started to cry. (This is not her usual attitude! Especially in the afternoon. She loves to swing and falls asleep quickly for her nap.) I went over to her swing and talked to her, gave her her binky & moved her soft blanket up by her face where she likes it. She didn't want anything to do with any of that and just cried harder. I picked her up and she quit crying immediately. I sat down with her and was talking to her, she snuggled down & went right to sleep! Apparently she just needed some Momma time. What a sweet baby girl! I love this tiny little precious girl SO SO MUCH!!

Unfortunately my computer is still not connecting to the internet... And I'm not quite sure how to upload pictures on Jared's computer so we have another picture-less post!
