Random stuff!

I really don't have anything to blog about but I am sick of looking at the Memorial Day post and pictures.... so I will just ramble!

This past week Breanne cut and colored my hair and waxed my eyebrows.  Wow!  It is amazing what a little pampering can do for a girl!  I love having my hair done, it just gives me a little boost!  I think I will need to go down to the Medical Spa in the basement of my work this week to check out what their new advertisement about "glitter toes" is all about.  Sounds fun to me! You can never have too much pampering.

I made a new yummy dish this weekend called Poppyseed Chicken.  It was pretty quick and easy to make - so that was a bonus.  Jare and I both really liked it!  We think I will need to make it again soon... like this week!  Thanks Lisa for the new delicious recipe!

My Grandma "Grams" celebrated her 82nd birthday on Saturday!  She is such a wonderful woman.  I wish she lived closer.  Grams is the best example of a servant of Christ.  She is always looking out for those around her.  She is kind and loving to everyone.  She has an amazing love and testimony of the gospel and Jesus Christ.  I love you Grams!  I miss her so much.  When I talked to her on the phone last night she said she may be coming up in August, I hope so!!

Friday night Jared and I went to Redbox and rented 27 Dresses.  It was a total chick flick but Jare was a great sport and watched it with me last night.  I totally cried at the end!   (It was like 1 am when we finished watching it so maybe that was why.)  Jare was there to calm me down and talk to me when I was crying about our wedding.  Our wedding was amazing and so beautiful - there was just one thing that "went wrong" (that was totally out of our control) that made it a little hard for us to concentrate during our ceremony.  Jared reminded me that we had written down what we could remember and that my Mom also gave us a letter containing what she remembered as well.

Jared is such a great husband!  Thanks Jare for using some of your therapy skills to help me focus on the good things and be happy!  Thanks for loving me even when a silly movie makes me cry like a baby!

Today our Sunday school class was so fun!  Sister Wilson is a total spaz!  I had so much fun learning in her class.  After church we ate dinner at my parents.  My sister and her family were there too.  Xander now says my name, it comes out more like "Dee-a" but it is so cute!  He kept chattering "Dee-a chicken!" (He wanted me to go put on the Chicken Run DVD) or "Dee-a treat!" and then would lead the way to the kitchen for a fruit snack.  It was so cute!  Millie snuggled between Jared and I on the couch to watch funny animal clips on youtube with Jared.  It was really cute.  I am so glad the little ones like us because we love to play with them and be with our family!
