On Easter we hit the "100 days left" mark until our baby is due! (That is until her due date which is July 22... If she wanted to come like 2 weeks early on July 8, that would be fine! Her birthday would then be 7/8/9.) It seems like time is moving so fast. This week we bought her car seat and stroller. Sometimes it still feels like a dream that I am pregnant... Until I feel a kick or look in the mirror. I have a baby shower for my family and friends in 2 weeks. My sister and sister-in-law have been doing SO much work to prepare for it! I am so excited to see all the fun and cute things they have planned. They both are wonderful, creative women and mothers. I have seen some things they have done and are planning to do which has got me totally excited! I think this will help things sink in a lot!
I was holding a baby at work last week that was 7 lbs. Reality kind of hit me then, this is the size of a newborn baby! A BABY! Babies in both of our families can be big at birth... like 9 - 10 lbs. big! Looks like our little one (or Mommy!) has a lot of growing to do these last 3 months... or should I say 93 days - but who is keeping track?

Busy and Tired
I feel like all I ever talk about is how busy and tired I am. I probably really am not that busy compared to a lot people who read my blog but I guess the tired part plays more into it than anything! I needed to update my blog but was feeling busy and tired so I hadn't. Well now that I am done with the excuses I will update, but here is a warning it is mostly me rambling and not anything really exciting!
Jared is counting the days until school is out. He has such a crazy schedule I don't know how he can work so much and still get amazing grades! His light at the end of the tunnel is our Anniversary trip in May to see Brian Regan. He will be taking the summer off from school which I think will be a much needed break... plus we will have a lot of adjusting to do as a family!
School for me is going well. -Back to feeling tired and busy- I feel like Wednesdays come too fast every week and another night is spend at school. I feel lost most of the time when our teacher is talking about atoms and all that crap (I don't believe in atoms... seriously some weird science psycho dude made them up)! I think I have the basic knowledge of what she is trying to pound into my brain though. I just pray I can pass the state test!
Our baby has become quite familiar with her little home and loves to explore all of her space. She wiggles and moves so much! I love it! I tease Jared that we should name her Shawn after my favorite Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson. Baby Bear was moving a lot one morning so Jared put his hand on my stomach to feel her move. She did like a back flip in there or something. I think it was her way of giving Daddy a "high five" before he went to school! I'm pretty sure he aced his test that day with the help of Baby Bear!
As far as a name goes for this little one we are still deciding! We keep coming back to one name but we will have to see what she looks like before we know for sure. Also, just an FYI - I plan on NEVER posting what her name will be or is on my blog (unless we go Private). For her little safety and protection we will probably just refer to her in the blogging world as Baby Bear. Please keep this in mind in the weeks and months to come... which means don't ask me to post what names we like or what her name is in the end! Thanks!

Baby Bump
I decided to take some pictures of my little baby bump... I know the "little" part won't last long! I thought I would need some pictures so I can really see the changes in the weeks and months to come. We had an OB visit last week and she is growing well!
Two weeks ago we went out with Brady & Kristina and Greer & Jess to dinner at Wingers and then went back to Greer and Jess' house to play the Wii. We all had so much fun. (It was a late night so I had to take a little nap on their couch though.. I made it up past 12, it has been months since I have been up that late!)
On Sunday we celebrated my Dad's birthday! When he got home from some church meetings we were already enjoying his birthday cheesecake. Xander told Papa he had to sit by him at the little kids table to eat his pie. Well Grandkids get what they want usually so Papa enjoyed his birthday pie with Xander at the kids little table... plus he even sat on one of the little kid chairs! Dad is always such a good sport! I can't wait for our little one to be born.... and get spoiled when they go to Mamma and Papa's home too!

All I need to know I learned in Primary...
So as the Sunbeam teachers in our ward I thought I would do a little post just for our little ones...
It has been a trial laced with joy teaching in Primary. We have our weeks when things go amazing and we have our weeks when... well when things aren't so great! Today was one of those Sundays. It was a little crazy and loud. Wait add some more crazy in there and you get our class for today.
We have learned a few things since we have been teaching.
1- Just because your neighbor needs to go potty doesn't mean you automatically need to. (Jared says that half the class must have a bladder infection - because they think they need to go at least once if not twice during class!)
2- Every picture we show is NOT of Jesus - but usually that is a safe answer to use!
3- Benadryl should be given to each child under the age of 7 upon walking into Primary.
4- Usually the "potty dance" is our cue for "I need to go now!" A poor little kid barley made it into the restroom today before going in his pants.... Poor little guy, it was his first week in class. Glad Jared was there to deal with that one!
5- One girl in our class may be having a contest to see how many weeks in a row she can fall out of her chair onto the floor without getting brain damage. I'm really not sure how she goes from sitting in her chair to on the floor in a heap in a blink of an eye!
6- I thought I was smarter than a 3-4 year old child until I was manipulated by one... It hasn't happened since though!
7- Reverence is s-l-o-w-l-y improving for these pint size energy balls... I just need to take a big deep breath and hope I never have 6 three-year-old children of my own all at once someday!
8- When music is being playing in the other room and one of our little girls hears it she will sing along with the song.... Is it alright to make her stop? I'm kinda impressed she can pick up what is going on in the other room when our classroom is in total chaos!
9- The First Article of Faith can be memorized by these little ones, and they will remember it for weeks to come! This totally impressed me.
10- Bet you didn't know all the places that Sponge Bob has gone while being apart of the Sunbeam class. I guess they must have these special episodes on Sunday... He's gone on a mission, been baptized and was a friend of Joseph Smith's to just name a few!
11- If you want something to be spread fast, just tell a child and they will make sure it comes out even if it's not appropriate! (Like one of the 6 year old girls a few weeks ago announced that her family no longer pays tithing because they are saving all their money for Disneyland!)
12- Some day we will miss our little friends that we get to teach. Until then we just hope our patience will last and that they will learn something from us besides... Please sit down, Put your feet on the floor, Remember to raise your hand, Don't touch your neighbor and Shh! We need to all listen!

Excitement!
So the most exciting news in our life recently has been.....
Getting our Ultrasound and feeling the baby move for the first time!!
Our little one has quite the attitude already! While doing the Ultrasound our Little Bear put its hands in front of its face so it was hard to get a good shot of the face and head. Then when we were trying to see the gender our Baby Bear had it's legs twisted and tucked behind it... Well soon we were able to get something else besides what the Ultrasonographer called "cheap shots!" and we were able to see the gender of our baby!
Our families had to count a bag of candy to figure out if our baby was a boy or a girl... but virtual candy counting is beyond me to figure out! But look at the cute bags we made to announce...
Pink or blue what will the baby be? Make sure you count your candy carefully! The answer will be found with the majority....
Celebration Outfits for our Princess... Let the spending begin!

So what will it be pink or blue? Well lets just say that Momma is right and Daddy is going to have a little princess! Yep, we are having a little baby girl!! We are SO excited!! Bring on the pink and purple, lots of hair bows, dresses and flowers and.... girly girl things!! Last Friday was such a fun day. I loved seeing her move all around and see all of her measurements and little tiny body working and growing. He said that everything looked normal and healthy - what a relief! (If I figure out how to work my scanner I will post some of the Ultrasound pictures!)

Today while sitting at work I felt the baby move for the first time... well at least FOR SURE move! It was so neat. I was so excited and had a huge smile on my face. Later this afternoon my Mom brought by a beautiful pink gerbera daisy, 5 hair bows and a super cute and baby soft blanket and matching hat that she made. It totally made my day. I will need to take some pictures and post them later.

I'm done!
After sitting on my couch for an hour and 40 minutes and not shedding ONE tear....
I am happy to announce that our taxes for 2008 are DONE!
I am so happy it is hard to describe my joy and excitement at the moment! It is a stark contrast to last year.... Flash back to last year sitting on my couch. Tears flowing. Angry. Frustrated. Crying. Headache from crying. Frustrated. It took me probably 2 weeks, now I'm not sure why but it did! It was a pain and I hated it - but I was determined to do them myself. I finished but after A LOT of tears and frustration. This year was such a breeze doing them. The only difference I see is that being pregnant I think this little Bear must have given me a miracle! Thanks Baby Bear you are a great addition to the family already!
And for those of you who have heard the McDonald's commercial about the guy leaving a message for his boss... I think I should call in well to work tomorrow!

What a STEAL!!
Yesterday one of my fellow pregnant coworker friends told me about a place that she just got a crib at for like $300. Awesome? Yes! It was retail price around $800 and her husband talked them down to $300! Well, I decided to go test my luck and.....
YEAH! Our baby has a crib!! I went today after work, picked it out, paid for it, and got in loaded into the back of the Durango - all in about 15 minutes! It is sleigh style and can convert to a toddler and full size bed. It's so pretty! It is a pecan color and SO sturdy! I tried to shake it to see if it would rattle and I couldn't make it budge! Our crib was retail price at $655. I paid $240 total for it! WHAT AN AMAZING DEAL! I am pretty proud of myself for saving so much money just on the crib (we were planning on spending around $400 + ) so I guess this means I have extra money to spend on other baby things we will need. Now I need to find the same type of amazing deal for the mattress.
Our ultrasound is in 10 days and then we will find out the gender of this little Baby Bear. I believe after that is when O.C.B.P.S starts, "Official Crazy Baby Planning and Shopping".... I can't wait!
I am so excited. I want to go wake up Jared right now and set up the crib..... I don't think he will go for it though! We need to finish cleaning out the office/junk room so it can be turned into our Baby Bear's room. Looks like I have an evening project to do!

Princess Davian!?...
Today at work I had twin three year old girls as some of my patients. While we were in the exam room I was talking to their Mom when the one little girl said to her sister,
"Look! She's as pretty as a princess!... But she doesn't have a crown!"
The little girls went back and forth talking about if I was a princess or not because after all I didn't have a crown. It was so cute! I just smiled and laughed to myself. (I have only seen her twice but I'm pretty sure she is my new favorite patient!!)
This cute little three year old really made my day! I am not feeling like I look like a pretty princess with all of these extra hormones - I feel more like I am 14 again! I don't believe anyone has ever told me I was "as pretty as a princess".... and be serious about it! We all have been there for the "Your beautiful, special and lovely like a Queen!" talks in Young Women's. But come on the leaders have to say that!
I wonder what princess she thought I looked like? Minus the crown that is!
