Yesterday one of my fellow pregnant coworker friends told me about a place that she just got a crib at for like $300. Awesome? Yes! It was retail price around $800 and her husband talked them down to $300! Well, I decided to go test my luck and.....
YEAH! Our baby has a crib!! I went today after work, picked it out, paid for it, and got in loaded into the back of the Durango - all in about 15 minutes! It is sleigh style and can convert to a toddler and full size bed. It's so pretty! It is a pecan color and SO sturdy! I tried to shake it to see if it would rattle and I couldn't make it budge! Our crib was retail price at $655. I paid $240 total for it! WHAT AN AMAZING DEAL! I am pretty proud of myself for saving so much money just on the crib (we were planning on spending around $400 + ) so I guess this means I have extra money to spend on other baby things we will need. Now I need to find the same type of amazing deal for the mattress.
Our ultrasound is in 10 days and then we will find out the gender of this little Baby Bear. I believe after that is when O.C.B.P.S starts, "Official Crazy Baby Planning and Shopping".... I can't wait!
I am so excited. I want to go wake up Jared right now and set up the crib..... I don't think he will go for it though! We need to finish cleaning out the office/junk room so it can be turned into our Baby Bear's room. Looks like I have an evening project to do!

Wow, Davian! You are NOT a regular bargain shopper are you?! You've been had. :) No, seriously though. I hope your high dollar one lasts through all 10 of your kids... :o Have fun with the baby room prep! That is such a very fun part of getting ready for the bambino. Makes it more real!

That is a great deal, plus if you move as much as we have for school you are going to need a good sturdy one! We can't wait to find out what you are having I have a few projects planned so I am excited to get started!

Killer deal!!! I cant wait to find out what your having! once you find out your going to go nuts with buying all the fun stuff!! Its so fun and addicting, it just never stops, even when thier almost 3 years old! I still go crazy for coy and clothes!! In fact I just bought his easter outfit!! so fun!!
