A Number of Updates

1. My laptop will not connect to the internet:(

2. I have to use Jared's laptop.... It's a Mac. I don't like Mac's... but will pretend at the moment so I can do a quick post!

3. Tiny is growing. She is now 3 months old...

Weight: 10 lbs 4 oz. - 9 %

Height: 23 in. - 34 %

Head Circumference: 16 in - 67%

4. Our girl LOVES to squeal and squawk and talk when she is awake! It is the cutest sound to hear.

5. Daddy is still busy working two jobs, but loves his Daddy daughter time when Mommy is at work!

6. Mommy is tired... Our Princess decided she doesn't want to sleep as well as she use to.

7. I recently found out that shopping with coupons is awesome! I bought a large can of formula for $7.99... SWEET! That is a 15 dollar savings - all from coupons.

8. Ma'ama had Influenza and couldn't hold or be with Tiny for days... but Tiny & I went on a walk and talked to Ma'ama through the front room window a few times, they both loved it!

9. I am loving my crock pot recently, fall just means bring out the crock pot! Almost everything I make for dinner starts in the crock pot! This week we have had yummy Chicken Tortilla Soup and Crock pot Enchiladas!

10. I love being a Mom and feel so blessed to have such a precious adorable little one that I get to call MY daughter!

BUMBO!

Last week we put Tiny in her Bumbo chair for the first time..... Not okay with this! She is growing up too fast! She loves it and is so dang cute sitting up like a big girl. She loves to sit there and watch us do things. I always have her close by now while I am doing the dishes or cooking so we can talk. She coos and smiles so much now. It is such a cute sound!

Tiny is really happy in the morning. This morning she was extra happy... but I could never get her happy smile captured. Her eyes still show how happy she was though.

Blessing Day!

Saturday was Tiny's blessing day! It was beautiful and both girls looked so cute....

This little buggy was my Grandma's as a child... It's about 80 years old. We took it out into the front of the church to take pictures with the girls inside. They turned out great! I'm so excited to get the pictures printed and sent to Grams.

So many Tiny things....

It has been really hard to leave Tiny to go to work. Knowing she is spending time with her Daddy has helped. Jared sends me LOTS of pictures and text message updates on how she is doing during the day which helps so much!

Tiny and I before I left for work the first time. Yes, I had already been crying and yes I cried at work too!

Tiny is growing and changing so fast! She has had a lot of "firsts" these past few weeks...

She has started smiling, cooing and has giggled a few times too. It is so fun to try and make her do these things for us. Usually it isn't too hard to get her to smile but getting her to coo can take some work!

Tiny had her 2 month check up and with that came her immunizations. She did really well! I even gave her one of the shots at the same time as the nurse was doing one of the other ones so it could go by faster. It was hard to do but I'm glad I did to help get it over with faster.... just the perks I guess of her pediatrician being the doctor I worked for for 5 years!

After her shots she had her first bath in the big tub. I think she loved it more than when I give her a bath in the kitchen sink. She just laid there arms and legs stretched out while I rubbed her legs. It was so cute.

This isn't the best picture but it shows how long she is getting! Tiny is just barley out growing her newborn clothes. Two nights ago she wore 0-3 month jammies to bed and looked so rotten cute in them! Here she is stretching out on our bed looking a bit nervous.

My Mom made her blessing dress and it is SO BEAUTIFUL! She looks like a little porcelain doll in it. Tiny and her little cousin "baby lollipop" that is 5 weeks younger than her are being blessed together on Saturday. I am really looking forward to this day. I will post some good pictures of the event next week! (Kristina is coming to take pictures so they will actually look really good and not just my snap shots that I am always posting!)

Two weeks ago we went out to dinner with Jared's family. Tiny was just so happy to be outside! She held her head up so high as we were walking in. Maybe it was because she was looking so dang cute that day!

Big girls don't cry?

If big girls don't cry then I must still be a little girl! This Momma is sitting on the couch trying not to think about going back to work on Monday and being away from her precious girl for 22 hours a week. And by the way.... BIG GIRLS DO CRY.... A LOT!

A picture review week....

I just loded over 100 pictures onto my computer of the past week! So I decided to do a picture review week. Here we go....

Millie & Xander invited Tiny on her first play date. We went to McDonalds. The kids had fun playing. Tiny was the best little play date - she slept the whole time!!

I got in the back seat while we were drving the other day because Tiny was crying. I put her binky in her mouth and she grabbed onto my thumb & middle fingers. She was holding on so tight! It made me laugh.

I got her in her carseat as we were leavin my Mom's to go visit my sister. I turned around & her thumb was up like she was hitch-hiking! It was so dang cute.... but looks like I need to teach her about stranger danger already!

Breanne had her baby Friday morning. She has the biggest chubby cheeks!

These two are already friends. I think Tiny was trying to wake her up to talk and play with her.

I spent a night at my parents while Jare was at work. Tiny slept in a dresser drawer next to me! She fit perfect and liked her little cozy bed.

Yesterday Lucille, my amazing neighbor did molds of Tiny's hands for us. It is a priceless thing and I love looking at them sitting on my counter. I know it is something I will enjoy for years to come.

I feel like she already is growing up too fast and it has only been a month! I love being with her and being her Mom. I love spending every moment with her. (I have been apart from her only twice since she was born... Last Friday for an hour and 20 minutes and last night for about 30 minutes!) She is beautiful and amazing. The happiness and joy that she has brought into our lives is wonderful! Jared and I were talking the other day that it really feels like she brought a piece of Heaven with her when she was born. She has a calming spirit about her and we feel it in our home and in our marriage. We feel our Heavenly Fathers love so much stronger through her and I hope she will always emanate His light. We feel so blessed and thankful for this opportunity in our lives.

We live across the street from an elementary school. It is the first day of school and I can hear the children playing outside. I know the time will pass too quickly and I will be sending my Tiny Princess off to Kindergarten and then before I know it she will be getting married. Jared said she can't date until she is at least 25... I told him we can't talk about things like that. "Things" like growing up and moving out, going on dates and going out the door to her first day of school all those "things" make me want to cry. Speaking of crying... I have to go back to work in just a week and a half!! I can't even stand the thought of it or I start to cry! So that will be all that is posted about that for now... I need a tissue!

Happy Birthday Tiny!

It was just one month ago that we went from all of this excitement....

My water had broke at about 6:20pm on Tuesday July 14.
I took a shower and then posed for this picture just minutes before we left for the hospital!

I was hooked up to my IV getting Pitocin and waiting to finish dilating. Jared and I took a moment away from watching 'The Office' to take this picture.

Our first family picture! Love at first sight... this girl has made us SO happy and complete as a family! Tiny-Tiny was born July 15!

I found this outfit Friday night while shopping. To justify buying it I decided it would be Tiny's 1 month birthday gift from Jared and I.... She loves it I'm pretty sure and is excited to grow so she can wear it!

For Tiny's birthday we went to go out to dinner to Texas Road House. The wait was too long so we went to Cafe Rio.

We got cupcakes from Dippidee for our families to celebrate Tiny's big day! Here is Uncle Taylor showing off the plate of cupcakes for his family and wishing her a happy day... The rest of the family was gone!
