Big girls don't cry?

If big girls don't cry then I must still be a little girl! This Momma is sitting on the couch trying not to think about going back to work on Monday and being away from her precious girl for 22 hours a week. And by the way.... BIG GIRLS DO CRY.... A LOT!

A picture review week....

I just loded over 100 pictures onto my computer of the past week! So I decided to do a picture review week. Here we go....

Millie & Xander invited Tiny on her first play date. We went to McDonalds. The kids had fun playing. Tiny was the best little play date - she slept the whole time!!

I got in the back seat while we were drving the other day because Tiny was crying. I put her binky in her mouth and she grabbed onto my thumb & middle fingers. She was holding on so tight! It made me laugh.

I got her in her carseat as we were leavin my Mom's to go visit my sister. I turned around & her thumb was up like she was hitch-hiking! It was so dang cute.... but looks like I need to teach her about stranger danger already!

Breanne had her baby Friday morning. She has the biggest chubby cheeks!
Maama & big brother Xander. He calls her his"Sugar baby lollipop".

Tiny, Me and baby Lollipop
Aunt Digga & Baby Lollipop
Cute tiny little cousins!
These two are already friends. I think Tiny was trying to wake her up to talk and play with her.

I spent a night at my parents while Jare was at work. Tiny slept in a dresser drawer next to me! She fit perfect and liked her little cozy bed.

Tiny hands

Yesterday Lucille, my amazing neighbor did molds of Tiny's hands for us. It is a priceless thing and I love looking at them sitting on my counter. I know it is something I will enjoy for years to come.
I feel like she already is growing up too fast and it has only been a month! I love being with her and being her Mom. I love spending every moment with her. (I have been apart from her only twice since she was born... Last Friday for an hour and 20 minutes and last night for about 30 minutes!) She is beautiful and amazing. The happiness and joy that she has brought into our lives is wonderful! Jared and I were talking the other day that it really feels like she brought a piece of Heaven with her when she was born. She has a calming spirit about her and we feel it in our home and in our marriage. We feel our Heavenly Fathers love so much stronger through her and I hope she will always emanate His light. We feel so blessed and thankful for this opportunity in our lives.
We live across the street from an elementary school. It is the first day of school and I can hear the children playing outside. I know the time will pass too quickly and I will be sending my Tiny Princess off to Kindergarten and then before I know it she will be getting married. Jared said she can't date until she is at least 25... I told him we can't talk about things like that. "Things" like growing up and moving out, going on dates and going out the door to her first day of school all those "things" make me want to cry. Speaking of crying... I have to go back to work in just a week and a half!! I can't even stand the thought of it or I start to cry! So that will be all that is posted about that for now... I need a tissue!
Just because I love taking pictures of her in her car seat I'll end with this...

So precious!

Happy Birthday Tiny!

It was just one month ago that we went from all of this excitement....

My water had broke at about 6:20pm on Tuesday July 14.
I took a shower and then posed for this picture just minutes before we left for the hospital!

I was hooked up to my IV getting Pitocin and waiting to finish dilating. Jared and I took a moment away from watching 'The Office' to take this picture.

Our first family picture! Love at first sight... this girl has made us SO happy and complete as a family! Tiny-Tiny was born July 15!

Our beautiful bright eyed happy girl!

Purple day for Mommy and Tiny!
She has such a curious look on her face in this picture it made us laugh!

Getting ready for her bath chillin' over Daddy's shoulder!

Papa had back surgery a week ago... Tiny was hanging out with him while he watched a movie!

All of that excitement has brought us to THIS day... When our Tiny Princess turned ONE MONTH OLD!

Here she is this morning in her pajamas before having her bath.
After her bath swinging the day away...
I found this outfit Friday night while shopping. To justify buying it I decided it would be Tiny's 1 month birthday gift from Jared and I.... She loves it I'm pretty sure and is excited to grow so she can wear it!

Mommy's little sweetie!

For Tiny's birthday we went to go out to dinner to Texas Road House. The wait was too long so we went to Cafe Rio.

We got cupcakes from Dippidee for our families to celebrate Tiny's big day! Here is Uncle Taylor showing off the plate of cupcakes for his family and wishing her a happy day... The rest of the family was gone!
Mommy, The Tiny Birthday Girl and Daddy
Xander was already asleep but Tiny was asleep in her car seat anyway so we put her in his crib!
Millie LOVES to help me take care of Tiny and is always VERY willing to help. Her baby sister will be born in just one week we are all really excited!

Aubrie, Justin, Tiny, Jan and Allie wishing our girl a happy day!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR LETTING US DROP IN ON YOU!
HAPPY ONE MONTH BIRTHDAY TINY TINY! WE LOVE YOU TO PIECES PRECIOUS GIRL!!

Happy!!!

What is happening in this picture that has made me SO HAPPY??

MY TEST SCORES! I PASSED!!!

I passed my LRT exam and now can quit worring about it and enjoy the rest of maternity leave!

Last night we went on a walk and Tiny was looking so scared! I had to take her picture it was too funny!

We bought this outfit during our Anniversary trip. It is 0-3 months and DROWNS her! She is just too cute though not to post how wide awake and happy she is after I give her her bath each day... it is some of my favorite moments spent with her!

Why would this Tiny Princess be making so much noise while sleeping in her car seat??
We figured it out quick... poor thing! Momma loves big bows though so I guess she will get used to them and not tug on them.

Cracking a smile for me after fixing her bow! I LOVE THIS GIRL!!

Tiny Girl

This past week has been a lot of fun and stressful as we adjust to our new lives with our Tiny Princess! She loves to eat but loves to sleep even more so we have been taking her to the Doctor every few days to get her weight checked.... Finally yesterday she started gaining weight again! She is still under her birth weight but is now going up instead of down which makes us really relieved! She weighs 6 lbs 8 oz now.

Tiny had her first story with Daddy. I bought this book before I had her to give to Jared after she was born. She really liked it and was so wide eyed the whole time listening to her Daddy!

Jared's brother Tye returned home from his mission to Australia on Tuesday. He still thinks it is crazy that he is an uncle but more crazy that his brother is a Dad! He calls her "Megantron" (which is nothing even close to her name) because of the family love of Transformers!

Uncle Tye holding Tiny for the first time!

Maama has stayed the night with us three times! She is such a big help and we appreciate her willingness to spend time with us. Tiny LOVES her Maama and is such a good girl for her! Mom also makes me my favorite breakfast in the mornings too... Homemade French toast with her special pear syrup! YUMMY!!

Tiny has big bright eyes just like her Momma! She loves to look around when she is awake with her big eyes. She is full of personality and has so many facial expressions already. I love taking pictures of her when she is in her car seat. I don't know why but I think she just looks so Tiny and cute in there I can't resist snapping a photo!

Tiny-Tiny in her car seat fast asleep!

Going to sleep with Daddy!

Introducting Our Tiny Princess

I have just a few moments to blog. I just got the tiny one to sleep so I am trying to quickly get things done before she wakes up and needs my attention.

Little Miss Chubby Cheeks!
Notice that her arm will be out by her face in
almost every picture - she is so funny!

She loves to strrrreeetch! We call this her "touch down" pose.

Now we are a family of three... Just home from the hospital.

So fresh and so clean right after her first bath at home.
Tiny Princess just had her nails painted too!

Going on her first walk in her stroller to Mamma and Papa's house for Sunday dinner!

SHE'S HERE!!!

Tuesday night my water broke.... Wednesday morning our Tiny Princess was born!

"Baby Bear" - (We wont be posting her name here but it starts with a 'B')
Born: Wednesday July 15, 2009
Time: 6:16 a.m.
Weight: 6 lbs 14 oz
Height: 19 1/2 in.

She is SO CUTE! (I will post some pictures soon so you can see for yourself how cute she is.) So far she is the best girl! She loves to sleep and sleeps about 6 hours a night.. let's hope that will last. She has a little bit of brown hair and big blue eyes. For being small she has chubby cheeks that we cant resist to kiss all day! We are so happy and blessed that she is here and healthy.
